Sovereign 400 Fin Keel Yacht (1988). Perkins Prima 50hp diesel engine. Teak decks. Slab reefed fully battened mainsail and furling genoa. Eight berths in three double berth cabins and saloon. ENGINE:

Perkins Prima 50hp diesel engine driving three blade propellor via shaft (rope cutter fitted). 3x 110ah batteries, charged by engine alternator. Shore power connected with sockets in cabin.

SAILS AND SPARS:

Aluminium double spreader mast and boom. Slab reefed fully battened mainsail (with stack pack and lazy jacks) and a furling genoa. Spare mainsail. Standing rigging renewed 2002. 2x Lewmar self tailing halyard, 2x genoa sheet and 2x reefing winches.

CABIN DETAILS:

The cabins are warmed by a Mikuni diesel heating system and the interior is finished with high quality joinery in teak and olive ash wood.

The private forecabin provides a double berth with locker storage, moving aft there is a heads compartment to starboard with a marine WC, wash hand basin and showerhead. There is a hanging locker opposite.

The saloon has curved seating (also a single berth) around a dining table to starboard and there is additional seating on the portside (also a single berth), there is plenty of locker storage in the saloon.

Moving aft the 'L' shaped galley is to starboard. It is very well equipped with:- twin stainless steel sinks, hot/ cold pressurised fresh water supply (heated by engine calorifier), a two burner Taylor's stove with oven and grill, a fridge, work tops and locker storage.

The navigation station with chart table is to port and opposite the galley. It is equipped with:- JRC Radar, Furuno GPS, Aquamarine 5600 VHF, B & G autopilot, B & G 'multi' repeater, Navtex and the electrical switch panel.

The two large aft cabins give generous double berth accommodation, the portside aft cabin also benefits from en-suite access to the portside heads compartment with marine WC, wash hand basin and showerhead.

DECK EQUIPMENT:

Bruce anchor with 20m chain and 30m warp. Pacific 2000 electric anchor windlass. Kedge anchor with 10m chain and 20m warp. Stainless steel pulpit, pushpit, stanchions and guard wires. Sprayhood. Cockpit table. Wheel steering. Warps and fenders.
